In 2025, I worked as a graphic design intern at The Dragon Trapper's Lodge, a company that produces original Dungeons & Dragons models and campaigns. As a graphic designer intern, I was responsible for designing and delivering announcement banners, promotional images, webpage backgrounds and dozens of model product thumbnails every month. For these projects, I would use photoshop and illustrator to take employer-provided model photos and arrange them within the product images using design principles like balance, alignment and emphasis, resulting in product images that were appealing and polished. It was a great experience learning from the company's graphic designer, who supervised me and helped me make sure the product images looked top notch. I also enjoyed getting to know the other team members, who I coordinated with regularly to make sure I got every asset I needed to produce product images on time, and that I would turn in deliverables in the same fashion. I’m proud to say that because I was able to take care of most of the product images, the team at Dragon Trapper’s Lodge had time to catch up on certain projects
as well as start new ones.

Over the half year that we had the opportunity to work together, I saw how Jackson grew as a designer and artist. He was willing to take on any project that I had for him to do, and was able to come up with some very creative designs for the tasks that were assigned to him. On many of the projects that were given to Jackson, he came up with a number of innovative solutions for the layouts, and when he applied for the internship position, he came in with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. This impressed me greatly and because of this, we hired him for the position. That same enthusiasm carried over into his work and I could tell that he loved doing what was asked of him.
